Washington Butler is from Puyallup, a city who was interested in the arts from a young age. She performed on stage as well as in the school. The actress moved to Los Angeles to study theatre at the University of Southern California and later, she played Belle the princess of Beauty and the Beast for a year and a half at Disneyland. She quit college to find an agent for talent to audition for films and television. Butler guest-starred on the television show CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.She was cast in the film A Couple of White Chicks at the Hair Dresser as well as the 2008 Syfy TV film of horror Flu Bird Horror. Although initially sceptical about the film's nakedness and the violence, its distinctive female edge and character storyline convinced her to perform the role. Butler starred in Jennifer Hills as a novelist brutally sexually assaulted in a hotel room while in vacation. Steven R. Monroe, the director of this film made it available on the 8th of October the 8th of October, 2010. Butler began filming The Stranger Within, a psychological thriller with Estella Warr as well as William Baldwin on Mallorca in Spain, in November 2011. The film was scheduled for shooting at Copenhagen Denmark and New York City.She joined the cast of the feature film independent Treachery starring Michael Biehn which began filming in Los Angeles in June 2012. Butler was co-starring with Michael Welch in 2013's horror film The Demented.
